the Riley RM Shooting Brake or Woody.
We understand that this car was one of just two that were created by East London coach builders Bonallack and Sons, with this one being built in 1947. Although the business was primarily concerned with commercial vehicle bodies, it had made Woodys a bit of a speciality. Around this period it produced Woodys based on Armstrong Siddeley and Humber as well as the Riley RM versions. All, like the Morris Traveller, using wooden frames to form the bodywork, hence Woody.
